THE DUBLIN CUP: PLAY 9 COMMUNITY-WIDE CHALLENGE NOW THROUGH JUNE 9
DUBLIN, Ohio – Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday announced today the return of the Tournament’s nine-hole disc and footgolf course now open in Dublin’s Riverside Crossing Park. The family-friendly course is located in the park’s expansive lawn area and promotes community engagement and support of the Tournament’s philanthropic mission.
“Play for a Purpose” QR codes are posted throughout the course, allowing participants the opportunity to donate to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, the Tournament’s collaborating charitable partners. Guests are also encouraged to take pictures with one of the 6-foot diameter branded golf balls at the park and post them to social media.
“Thanks to the support of City of Dublin, the Memorial is excited to bring back our disc and footgolf course for the second consecutive year,” said Dan Sullivan, the Memorial Tournament’s executive director. “Golf is a perfect platform to bring the community together and support charity and we look forward to seeing the public come out to Riverside Crossing Park to enjoy some friendly competition and learn more about the incredible work being done at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Eat. Learn. Play.”
The disc and footgolf course is open to the public through June 9 and offers complimentary discs available on the honor system and a first-come, first-served basis.
