DUBLIN, Ohio – Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday announced today that the Tournament has accepted the entries of Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Jason Day and Keegan Bradley to compete in the 2024 Memorial Tournament. The Memorial’s four latest commitments are all past winners of the PGA Championship.
Thomas holds two PGA Championship titles, his first coming in 2017 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., and his second in 2022 at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Okla., after a dramatic three-hole playoff with Will Zalatoris. Morikawa won the 2020 PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, while Day hoisted the Wanamaker trophy at Whistling Straits in Haven, Wis., in 2015 and Bradley won a three-hole playoff over 2017 Memorial Tournament winner Jason Dufner to claim the 2011 addition at Atlanta Athletic Club.
The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday is June 3-9 at the world-renowned Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Thomas, 31, will reach double-digit starts at this year’s Memorial Tournament presented by Workday where his best finish is T4 in 2017. His scoring average at Muirfield Village Golf Club sits at 72.21 with career earnings of $809,410. The University of Alabama alum is ranked No. 24 in FedExCup points and No. 31 in the world with six top-25 finishes over 10 starts this season, including three top-10s. Thomas owns 15 PGA TOUR victories, including his two major titles. The Kentucky native is arguably one of the more popular and accomplished players of the past decade, enjoying three multi-win seasons¾with his best campaign coming in 2016-17 with five wins, the FedExCup title and the Jack Nicklaus Award as the PGA TOUR Player of the Year.
Morikawa, 27, is set to make his fifth start in the Memorial Tournament, where his best result came in 2021 with a second-place finish after a playoff loss to Patrick Cantlay. His career Tournament earnings are $1,037,539 and his scoring average is 71.62. The Los Angeles native has recorded six PGA TOUR victories since turning professional in 2019, including multi-win seasons in 2019-20 and 2021-22. During his 2019-20 campaign, Morikawa won the Workday Charity Open¾contested at Muirfield Village Golf Club¾and his first major at the 102nd playing of the PGA Championship. In 2021, Morikawa added his second major championship at The Open at Royal St. George’s. The University of California Bear is coming off a strong 2022-23 season, where he grabbed seven top-10s over 25 starts, including two runner-up finishes and first place at the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP. Morikawa is ranked No. 11 in FedExCup points and No. 13 in the world. He recently earned his third top-10 finish of the 2024 season with a ninth-place showing at the RBC Heritage after notching a T3 at the Masters Tournament.
Day, 35, is coming off a T4 at last week’s Wells Fargo Championship, his fourth top-10 of the season in 12 starts. After owning a stretch of 10 wins from 2014-18, his first major in 2015 at the PGA Championship among them, Day has battled back from injury to find renewed success, enjoying eight top-10s last season, including a T2 at The Open and his 13th career PGA TOUR title at the AT&T Byron Nelson. The Australian native, now living in Columbus, enters the second major of the year this week ranked No. 12 in FedExCup points and 19th in the world. He finished T14 at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., the last time the Jack Nicklaus-designed course hosted the PGA Championship in 2014. Day will be making his 15th start at the Memorial. He grabbed his best finish at Muirfield Village Golf Club in 2020 when he tied for fourth. Day’s Memorial Tournament earnings stand at $842,597.44 and his scoring average is 72.04.
Bradley, 37, is set to make his 14th consecutive start at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, with a tie for eighth in 2015 and ’16 his best finish. His Tournament scoring average is 72.31 to accompany $731,365 in career earnings. The Vermont native is coming off a career-best PGA TOUR season that included his first win since 2018 and second multi-win season¾with victories at the 2022 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP and 2023 Travelers Championship¾ since winning the PGA Championship and Byron Nelson in 2011. Bradley’s PGA TOUR win total now numbers six since turning professional in 2008. The St. John’s University alum is ranked No. 50 in FedExCup points and No. 20 in the world on the strength of four top-25 finishes over 11 starts this season, the best a T2 at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The cost is $60, and they are valid for all three practice-round days.
