Optioned RHP Peter Strzelecki to AAA Columbus.

Hentges, 27, has spent the 2024 season to date on the 15-day IL due to left middle finger inflammation after four outings this spring, the last of which occurred on March 8. He has been rehabbing between AA Akron and AAA Columbus since April 19, recording 6 scoreless outings (6.2IP, 2H, 0R, 7SO).
Manzardo, 23, has spent the season to date in AAA Columbus, posting a slash line of .303/.375/.642/1.017 with 10 doubles, 9 home runs and 20 RBI over 29 games with the Clippers. Since April 19, he is batting .364 (20-for-55) with 6 2B, 8 HR, 14 RBI and 17 runs over his last 14 games (1.319 OPS). He is currently third in the Int’l League in slugging pct. and extra-base hits and tied for fourth in homers and doubles. The Coeur d’Alene, Idaho native entered the 2024 season the second-ranked prospect in the Guardians system (MLB.com) following his July 31, 2023 acquisition from the Tamp Bay Rays for RHP Aaron Civale.
Steven Kwan sustained an acute left hamstring strain while making a defensive play in the outfield on 5/4/24. He submitted to an MRI which confirmed a left hamstring strain. Dr. Mark Schickendantz performed the evaluation and noted that this injury will likely take approximately 4 weeks before he will be ready for Major League game activity.
