COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Columbus Fury have signed their third round draft seletion three-time All-American and two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year, Kendall Kipp. Kipp was most recently in Italy where she was a member of Il Bisonte Firenze. She appeared in 12 matches in Italy totaling 147 kills and hitting .377, the third-best mark on the team.

Columbus drafted Kipp with their third round pick after her second-consecutive Pac-12 Player of the Year season at Stanford. She was part of the national championship team in 2019 and led the team to back-to-back Pac-12 championships in 2022 and 2023.

“We are excited to bring in another young talent from our draft class,” explained head coach Ángel Pérez. “Kendall played in one of the best leagues in the world in Italy and brings great competitiveness to our team. Her addition will bring more depth to the right side and keeps our team in contention to grab one of the top four spots at the end of the season.”

Kipp will make her debut with Columbus tonight against San Diego for the Fury’s first nationally televised match on CBS Sports Network. The match is at 7 p.m. at Nationwide Arena, doors open at 6 p.m.
