Black & Gold advance to Concacaf Champions Cup Semifinals for first time in Club history

  • The Crew earned a 1-1 (4-3) penalty shootout win against Tigres UANL Tuesday night in the second leg of the Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinals at the Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico. The Black & Gold now advance to the Concacaf Champions Cup Semifinals for the first time in Club history.
    • The Crew are the first MLS team to advance to the next round of Concacaf Champions Cup when facing a LIGA MX club after hosting and not winning the first leg of the series.
    • Following tonight’s result, Columbus will face the winner of the CF Monterrey-Inter Miami CF series in the Concacaf Champions Cup Semifinals. The match kicks off at 10:30 p.m. ET.
    • The Black & Gold maintain an unbeaten record (1-0-3) in regulation through their first four 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup matches.
    • Columbus has scored at least one goal in 24 of its past 25 matches across all competitions, netting 46 in the stretch.
