2023-24 (Senior)
- One of four players to play in all 36 games
- Averaged 6.6 points and was fifth on the team in rebounding at 4.1 rebounds per game
- Had three double-doubles on the season
- Was third on the team with 23 blocked shots

2022-23 (Junior)
- Played in 25 games, with 23 starts, before having season-ending shoulder surgery
- Was playing like one of the top centers in the Big Ten prior to his injury as he was averaging 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 63.5 percent from the floor before Jan. 5
- He decided to shut it done for the year following the game at Iowa on Feb. 12.
- Finished the year with career-best averages of 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game with career-highs of 24 blocks and 14 steals.
- One of just four Buckeyes to start a season with three-consecutive double-doubles, joining Keita Bates-Diop (2017) and Evan Turner (2009)
- Had a double-double in the season-opener vs. Robert Morris (11/7) with 13 points and 10 rebounds, making the first two three-pointers that he attempted in his career
- Recorded a double-double in the first half vs. Charleston Southern (11/10), finishing the game with 17 points and 13 rebounds

2021-22 (Sophomore)
- Played in 29 games, making 23 starts
- Averaged 7.8 points per game and was second on the team at 5.6 rebounds per game
- Shot a team-best 56.2 percent from the floor
- Was second on the team with 24 blocks
- Matched his career-high with 14 points in the season-opening win over Akron (11/9)
- Notched his second-consecutive double-figure game with 11 points and a career-high tying three blocks vs. Niagara (11/12)
- Scored a career-high 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting in the win over No. 1 Duke (11/30)
- Pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds in the overtime win at Nebraska (1/2/22)
- Was 6-of-7 from the floor and scored 14 points vs. Maryland (2/6)
- Had his second career double-double with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds at Rutgers (2/9)
2020-21 (Freshman)
- Averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game … reached 100 points with a bucket vs. Purdue at home (1/19/21)
- Outstanding vs. Cleveland State (12/13/20) with career-high 12 points and 10 rebounds and vs. UCLA (12/19/20) with 11 points and six rebounds
- Hit 61.6% of his field goals (61 of 99)
- Second on team with 22 blocks
- Had eight points and seve rebounds off the bench vs. No. 8 Iowa in Iowa City Feb. 4, 2021

PRIOR TO OHIO STATE
- Long Island (N.Y.) Lutheran High School (22-3, 2019-20)
- Key was both leading scorer and rebounder with 18 points and 8.7 rebounds per game for Long Island Lutheran last year. He also blocked 2.0 shots a contest. From the field he made 178-261 (68%) and made 71% at the foul line (178-261).
- Recognized as First Team All-Long Island, Key made the all-tournament team in three events last year: The 2019 Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, The ‘Iolani Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii, and The Montverde Invitational in Florida.
- After a win over MaxPreps No. 2 Sierra Canyon (Calif.) in which he scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, he tallied 37 points to go with 16 rebounds in a win over the Patrick School (N.J.). Long Island Lutheran, which ended the season ranked No. 11. Key was named a MaxPreps (5th Team) All-American as well.
