COLUMBUS, Ohio (March 23, 2024) – The Atlanta Vibe (9-3) look to extend their winning streak to six as they face the Columbus Fury (4-5) on the road on Sunday, March 24. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. ET at Nationwide Arena on YouTube.

Columbus is Atlanta’s last unfamiliar opponent in the Pro Volleyball Federation heading into their first meeting on Sunday, March 24. Atlanta heads into Sunday on a five-match win streak, the longest the PVF has seen so far in its inaugural season – surpassing the four-match streak accomplished by Columbus earlier this season. The Fury have dropped their last three matches, losing twice to the Grand Rapids Rise and once to the Vegas Thrill.

Most recently, Atlanta claimed a dominant three-set sweep over the Orlando Valkyries at home, their fourth shutout of the season.

Prior to Sunday’s match, the Vibe promoted outside hitter Alli Linnehan off the Injured Reserve (Short Term) list and waived outside Kacie Evans to place her on the team’s practice squad once she cleared waivers. The Fury added opposite Nikoleta Perović out of Montenegro and Olympian outside hitter Michelle Bartsch-Hackley ahead of the match, just a week after acquiring setter Tori Stringer in a trade with Atlanta.

Four Vibe players are from within 200 miles of Columbus, Ohio: Kacie Evans is from Wadsworth, Ohio (111 miles), Morgan Hentz is from Lakeside Park, Ky. (115 miles), Leah Edmond is from Lexington, Ky. (190 miles), and Grace Cleveland is originally from Cleveland, Ohio (142 miles).

Atlanta’s match notes are attached to this email and can be found online here. The Vibe’s next home match will be Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. against the Columbus Fury at Gas South Arena in Duluth. Ticket options for Wednesday’s match and the remainder of the Vibe’s inaugural season can be found at AtlantaVibe.com/Tickets.
