With a win Sunday, all three seeds are still in play. A loss, and the Buckeyes could be either No. 10 or No. 11. If Michigan State and Penn State both win on Sunday, the Buckeyes will be locked in as the No. 11 seed, regardless of the outcome in Piscataway.

Bruce Thornton led 11 Buckeyes in the scoring column with 17 points as he was a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line. Graduate Dale Bonner had 10 points, marking his first double-figure scoring game of 2024. He was 4-of-4 from the floor and had three steals. The Buckeyes shot 71.4 percent in their 52-point second half and finished the game a season-high 56.3 percent shooting overall.
