Chicago Cubs News: Adds new Heritage Cap Series to 2024 promotional calendar

By Dan Hock

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs are expanding the 2024 promotional calendar for the upcoming regular season to include a new cap series that honors and recognizes the culture and diversity of individuals from seven different cultures, including Caribbean, Greek, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Polish and Puerto Rican heritage.

“This year, we put an emphasis on finding new and different ways to expand our offerings to reflect the diversity of our fan base and city,” said Cubs Senior Vice President of Marketing Jen Martindale. “We’re incredibly proud of our new Heritage Cap Series, and hope all fans join us in celebrating our collective diversity by purchasing one of these Special Ticket Offers.”

Collectively named the “Heritage Cap Series,” fans are invited on select dates throughout the regular season to show their cultural pride with seven new Special Ticket Offers. Each Special Ticket Offer includes a ticket to the selected game and a special-edition Cubs cap featuring the flag associated with that specific heritage.

Proudly celebrate these cultures with the Cubs on these dates:

  • Sunday, April 21: Mexican Heritage Cap
  • Saturday, June 1: Caribbean American Heritage Cap
  • Monday, August 5: Puerto Rican Heritage Cap
  • Tuesday, August 20: Greek Heritage Cap
  • Tuesday, August 20: Italian Heritage Cap
  • Wednesday, August 21: Irish Heritage Cap
  • Wednesday, August 21: Polish Heritage Cap
