CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 13-13 overall and 7-8 in the BIG EAST Conference, take on the No. 7 Marquette University Golden Eagles, 20-6 overall and 11-4 in the BIG EAST, on Sunday in Milwaukee. Xavier and Marquette are meeting for the first time this season. XU and MU meet again on March 9 in Cincinnati.

Xavier graduate student Quincy Olivari, who is second in the BIG EAST in scoring (19.1 ppg.), enters the Marquette game just 16 points shy of 2,000. Olivari has scored 1,984 points in his collegiate career, including his totals at Rice and Xavier.

• Xavier and Marquette play twice in XU’s final five regular season games. Marquette visits Xavier on March 9. MU is the only team XU has not yet played this season.

He leads the team and is sixth in the BIG EAST in assists at 4.9 apg. and ninth in steals at 1.5 spg. McKnight, who has averaged 16.3 ppg. for the last 10 games, is third on the team in scoring at 12.1 ppg.
• Xavier sophomore Desmond Claude is second on the team in scoring at 16.1 ppg.
