CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 13-12 overall and 7-7 in the BIG EAST Conference, return home on Wednesday night to host the Providence College Friars, 17-9 overall and 8-7 in the BIG EAST. Xavier is looking to snap a two-game losing streak, while Providence will be trying to extend a two-game winning streak. XU has been off since Feb. 14.

This game features the top two scorers in the BIG EAST Conference in Providence’s Devin Carter at 19.2 ppg. and Xavier’s Quincy Olivari at 19.1 ppg.

• Xavier leads the BIG EAST Conference and is third in the nation in fastbreak points at 16.6 ppg. XU is third in the BIG EAST and 29th in the nation in assists at 16.6 apg.
• Xavier graduate student Quincy Olivari is second in the BIG EAST in scoring (19.1 ppg.) behind Devin Carter of Providence (19.2 ppg.). Olivari enters the PC game with 1,965 points in his collegiate career, including his totals at Rice and Xavier.
• Xavier’s Quincy Olivari leads the BIG EAST and is 17th in the nation in 3-point field goals at 3.1 made per game, while ranking second in the BIG EAST and fifth in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage at .443).
• Xavier senior Dayvion McKnight is first in the BIG EAST and 14th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.21. He is sixth in the BIG EAST in assists at 4.9 per game.
