The Pittsburgh Pirates announced last week  the following staff assignments for the team’s four full-season minor
league affiliates for the 2024 season.

Below are additional updates for members of the Pirates player development department.

Jonathan Johnston, Hitting Development Coordinator
Enters his fifth season as a member of the Pirates organization…Managed Bradenton from 2021-23…Was
named the Southeast League’s Manager of the Year in 2021 after leading Bradenton to the league championship.

Bart Hanegraaff, Head of Methodology
Enters his fifth season as a member of the Pirates organization…Served as the Coordinator of Skill Acquisition in 2021
prior to becoming the organization’s Head of Methodology.

Chris Truby, Infield Coordinator
Is in his third season as the organization’s Minor League Infield Coordinator after spending the previous 13 years on
the Phillies player development staff.

Chad Noble, Catching Coordinator
Will return for his third season as the organization’s Minor League Catching Coordinator in addition to serving
Indianapolis as the team’s bullpen, catching/game-planning coach…Served as the bullpen catcher for the Chicago Cubs
from 2014-21 prior to joining the Pirates.

Jim Horner, Assistant Field Coordinator
Enters his fifth season as a member of the Pirates organization…Will manage Single-A Bradenton while also serving
the organization as the Assistant Field Coordinator…Was a coach with Bradenton in 2021 after being hired prior to 2020 to
be the hitting coach for the West Virginia Black Bears.

Callix Crabbe, Complex Hitting Coordinator
Will serve as the organization’s Complex Hitting Coordinator after managing Double-A Altoona in 2023…Managed
High-A Greensboro in 2022 while serving the Pirates as Assistant Hitting Coordinator in the club’s minor league system.

Tim McKeithan, Assistant Director, Hitting
Begins his first season as the organization’s Assistant Director, Hitting…Spent the previous five seasons as a member
of the team’s big league coaching staff…Joined the organization as an intern in the Player Development department in 2016.
Jeremy Bleich, Assistant Director, Pitching

Enters his first season as the organization’s Assistant Director, Pitching…Spent the previous four seasons as a member
of Pittsburgh’s Major League coaching/clubhouse staff…Also served as the organization’s Coordinator, Major League Pitching
Operations in both 2022 and 2023.

Alan Burr, Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Has been promoted to the organization’s Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator…Will also be the Strength
and Conditioning Coach for Triple-A Indianapolis…Is in his 12th season with the Pirates organization, including his fourth
straight with Indianapolis
