- The Blue Jackets have now recorded points in six of their last 10 games (3-4-3) and 15 of the past 26 contests (10-11-5) following tonight’s loss to the Devils.
- CBJ moved to 16-7-2 in the last 25 games in the series vs. New Jersey since Mar. 5, 2017.

- RW Yegor Chinakhov registered an assist to give him points in two consecutive games (1-1-2) and now has 8-6-14 in the last 17 contests (overall, 11-8-19 in 34 GP). He improved to 4-1-5 in seven career games vs. the Devils, including points in his past three games against the club (2-1-3).
- LW Johnny Gaudreau recorded an assist to extend his assists streak to three-straight games (0-4-4).
