«  All-Star G Thatcher Demko stopped all 26 shots faced for his fourth shutout of the season on Saturday at Buffalo and ranks second in the league in wins and shutouts (tied) and seventh-T in save percentage with a 22-8-1 record, 2.47 GAA and .919 SV% in 31 outings this season.

«  All-Star D Quinn Hughes ranks fourth in the NHL in assists while leading league blueliners in assists and points and ranking second in goals with 11-40-51 in 43 contests.

«  All-Star C J.T. Miller leads the club in scoring and ranks second in assists and power play goals while also ranking fourth-T among all NHL players in points and fifth-T in assists with 19-39-58 and seven PPG in 43 outings.

  • Columbus began a three-game homestand with a 7-4 loss to Seattle on Saturday.  The club hosts Vancouver on Monday and New Jersey on Friday.
  • has recorded points in five of the last eight (2-3-3) and 14 of the last 24 games (9-10-5) dating back to Nov. 22.
  • CBJ are in a stretch of four games over 16 days from Jan. 7-22, playing at Winnipeg on Jan. 9 before hosting Seattle (Jan. 13), Vancouver (Jan. 15) and New Jersey (Jan. 19).
  • The Blue Jackets have played in 19 one-goal games this season, including seven of the last 12, with another five contests as two goal finishes thanks to the addition of empty net goals (MR: Nov. 29 vs. Montreal).  The 19 one-goal games are tied for the ninth-most in the NHL.
  • Columbus played past regulation six times (2-4) over an eight-game stretch from Dec. 21-Jan. 6.  The last time the club played in at least six overtimes/shootouts over an eight-game stretch was when it played six-in-seven from Mar. 11-25, 2021.  CBJ have had 13 of their games decided after regulation this season, tied for the sixth-most in the NHL.

  • Adam Boqvist registered an assist on Saturday and has posted assists in three of his last four games played (0-4-4).
  • RW Yegor Chinakhov has registered 7-5-12 with three multi-point efforts over the last 15 games.  He has tallied 9-6-15 with eight even-strength goals and four multi-point games in the past 21 outings since Nov. 27.
  • Justin Danforth has registered 3-4-7 in the last 15 games and has already set single-season career highs in assists and points with 9-9-18 in 43 outings this season.
  • Adam Fantilli, who collected an assist on Saturday, has registered points in six of his last nine games (2-4-6) and eight of the past 12 contests (3-6-9).  He recorded 7-6-13 in 14 December games to set franchise records for most goals (Balastik, 6 in 2005) and points (Dubois, 12 in 2017) by a rookie in the month.  The 2023 third overall pick ranks second among NHL rookies in points, third in goals and sixth in assists with 11-14-25 in 43 appearances this season.
  • LW Johnny Gaudreau notched his 100th career point as a Blue Jacket with an assist on Saturday.  He has recorded 3-8-11 in the last 13 games and 6-14-20 with five multi-point outings in his last 26 contests after collecting 1-5-6 in the first 17 games of the season.
  • David Jiricek ranks fourth-T among rookie NHL blueliners in assists and fifth in points with 1-8-9 in 36 contests.
  • Kent Johnson collected an assist on Saturday and has posted 5-6-11 with three multi-point efforts in his last 16 games overall since Dec. 7.
  • RW Kirill Marchenko notched his fifth multi-point effort of the season with 1-1-2 while skating in his 100th career game on Saturday.  With 35-14-49 in 100 contests, he tied Rick Nash for the most goals through the first 100 games of an NHL career in franchise history.  Marchenko has collected 10-5-15 in his past 24 games and leads the team in goals with 14-10-24 in 41 contests this season.  He has already set a new career high in assists after posting 21-4-24 in 59 contests during his 2022-23 rookie campaign.
  • Andrew Peeke collected his second career multi-assist/point game (Dec. 15, 2021 vs. SJS) with two assists on Saturday vs. Seattle.  He has registered five assists in his last seven games played dating back to Dec. 14.
  • Ivan Provorov notched his fourth career two-goal game (MR: Apr. 2, 2022 vs. TOR) after scoring CBJ’s first two goals on Saturday.  He ranks second-T on the club in assists, blocked shots and time on ice with 4-19-23 and 83 blocked shots, while averaging 22:57 TOI in 43 appearances this season.
  • Damon Severson has collected 2-2-4 in the last seven games and 4-3-7 with two multi-point efforts over his last 12 outings.  He leads club defensemen in goals with 5-7-12 in 28 appearances this season.
  • 20-year-old C Cole Sillinger has registered 6-2-8 with two multi-point efforts over the past 11 contests, including his second career hat trick on Jan. 6 vs. Minnesota.  He won 10-of-15 faceoffs in Saturday’s game against the Kraken and ranks eighth-T in the NHL in faceoff percentage (min. 50 GP) since Jan. 1, winning 61.3 percent of his draws (46-of-75).
