Missouri Tigers Football News: SEC Announces 2024 Football Schedule Dates

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference announced 2024 schedule dates for University of Missouri football Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023.

The Tigers will welcome Arkansas, Auburn, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt to Columbia in 2024 while traveling to Alabama, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M. The 2024 season marks the first year of league competition for the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas – Mizzou’s longtime rivals from the Big 12 Conference.

The season kicks off with four-straight home games at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field, vs. Murray State (Aug. 31), Buffalo (Sept. 7), Boston College (Sept. 14) and the SEC opener against Vanderbilt (Sept. 21).

The Tigers will play three of the next four on the road, at Texas A&M (Oct. 5), at UMass (Oct. 12), the annual homecoming game vs. Auburn (Oct. 19) and a trek to Alabama (Oct. 9).

MU and Oklahoma rekindle an old rivalry on Nov. 9, following by back-to-back road games at South Carolina (Nov. 16) and Mississippi State (Nov. 23) before closing out the regular season with the Battle Line Rivalry against Arkansas on Nov. 30.

Home Games in BOLD CAPS; * — SEC Game

SEC teams in 2024 will play eight conference games plus one required opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, or major independent during the 2024 season when the SEC becomes a 16-team conference. The Tigers face Boston College at home on Saturday, September 14. 2024.

The SEC will eliminate divisional standings beginning in 2024. The SEC Championship Game will feature the two top teams in the Conference standings at the end of the regular season.

No. 9 Missouri (10-2) continues its 2023 season against No. 7 Ohio State in the 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday, Dec. 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. CT with ESPN and Tiger Radio Network providing coverage.
