NEW YORK (Dec. 22, 2023) – Player registration for the EA SPORTS™ NHL 24 World Championship opened today at www.nhl.com/nhl24, the National Hockey League announced. The annual tournament, which showcases the best EA SPORTS NHL 24 players in the world, will begin play in January with the North American Club Championship qualifiers and the European New Year’s Open.

 

As announced earlier, this season’s tournament highlights include the return of 32 dedicated NHL Club qualification events, a more condensed season and additional players (4 North American, 2 European) advancing to the World Final event to compete in-person for the elusive World Championship title, Championship belt and $30,000 USD grand prize.

 

The registration portal for the EA SPORTS™ NHL 24 World Championship™ will close on Tuesday, Jan. 30 for European Online Open Play and on Tuesday, Feb. 13 for North American Online Open Play.
