BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES
- The Blue Jackets moved to 4-3-1 in the last eight games overall and 3-1-1 in the last five games at Nationwide Arena following tonight’s overtime loss to the Kings.
- Columbus has registered points in six of the last eight games of the series vs. Los Angeles since Dec. 13, 2018 (4-2-2).
- CBJ have recorded points in five-straight home contests of the series (3-0-2) and nine of the last 12 at Nationwide Arena since Mar. 8, 2012 (6-3-3).
- The winning team in the series has scored three-plus goals in 16 of the last 17 games and four-plus goals in nine of the last 11 (including shootout goals).
- CBJ went one-for-one on the power play tonight and have now recorded a power play goal in seven of the last 10 home games of the series since Jan. 21, 2014 (8-of-23; 34.8 pct.).

- RW Kirill Marchenko scored a power play goal in the first period and has now recorded goals in four of the past eight games (4-1-5; overall, 8-6-14 in 25 GP). He improved to 3-0-3 in three career games vs. the Kings, scoring a goal in each of his three appearances.
- LW Johnny Gaudreau registered his fourth multi-point effort of the campaign with one goal and one assist, giving him two multi-point games in his past three contests (1-3-4) and points in six of his last ten contests (3-6-9; overall, 4-11-15 in 27 GP). He now sits two points shy of 700 in his NHL career (235-463-698 in 709 GP). The forward, who has 12-24-36 in 31 career games against Los Angeles, has recorded points in seven of his last eight games vs. the club (5-8-13) and nine of the past 11 (6-9-15) and has registered points in 13 of 16 career home outings (6-15-21), including points in each of his last five home contests (3-5-8).
- RW Mathieu Olivier scored his first goal of the season to give him points in two-straight games (1-1-2; overall, 1-4-5 in 15 GP).
- C Adam Fantilli tallied his seventh assist of the campaign and now has 1-1-2 in his last three contests and 3-3-6 in the past 15 games (overall, 5-7-12 in 27 GP). He has collected 2-6-8 in 15 home games, which is tied for the third-most points by a rookie on home ice this season behind Leo Carlsson (6-4-10 in 11 GP) and Marco Rossi (5-4-9 in 11 GP).
- D David Jiricek registered the first assist on Olivier’s second period goal, giving him 1-4-5 in 22 games.
- D Adam Boqvist recorded the first assist on Marchenko’s first period goal and now has 0-3-3 in 13 appearances.
- D Andrew Peeke skated in his 200th career NHL game (9-26-35) tonight.
