Junior QB led Rockets to comeback victory in Battle of I-75

TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior quarterback Dequan Finn was named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Finn completed 20-of-30 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-31 victory vs. Bowling Green in the annual Battle of I-75. Finn hit running back Jacquez Stuart for the game-winning 59-yard TD with 1:45 left in the game. Finn also ran for 23-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
This is Finn’s third MAC weekly award this season.
The No. 23-ranked Rockets (10-1, 7-0 MAC) have clinched their second consecutive Mid-American Conference West Division title. Toledo will play Miami in the 2023 MAC Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 2. Tickets may be ordered online now at UTRockets.com/MACTix.
