Pregame ceremony will include players and their families prior to game vs. Minnesota

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Twenty-one Ohio State University football seniors and their families will be honored prior to Saturday’s final home game of the 2023 season at Ohio Stadium versus Minnesota. The Buckeyes group of Senior Day honorees also includes three student managers.

This year’s fifth-year seniors, who joined the program in 2019, have been part of two Big Ten championship teams, appeared in the College Football Playoff three times and enter Saturday’s game with a record of 52-6 over the past five seasons. They also have a win in the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl on their career resumes and played in a CFP National Championship Game.

Additionally, Ohio State’s roster includes three six-year players: WR Xavier Johnson, SAF Josh Proctor and OL Matthew Jones. Johnson has played in 53 career games – the most of any active player on the roster – while Proctor and Jones have seen action in 48 and 43 games, respectively.
