UD Flyers News: Jack Warren Named Dayton MBB Director of Basketball Operations

Warren Previously Worked With Programs At Jacksonville, UNC Asheville & Florida

DAYTON – University of Dayton men’s basketball coach Anthony grant has named Jack Warren to be the Flyer program’s Director of Basketball Operations, it was announced today.

“Jack is a relentless worker who brings a variety of experiences, having been a part of several successful programs, coaching staffs, and administrations,” Grant said.  “He brings a selfless approach to his role, is extremely organized, and is valued highly by everyone he’s worked with. We are very excited to welcome Jack to the Flyer family and the Dayton community.”

Warren comes to UD from Jacksonville University, where he had been since the spring of 2021.  Warren began as Director of Operations for the Dolphins before being named Special Assistant to the Head Coach.

Prior to Jacksonville, Warren was the Director of Basketball Operations at UNC Asheville in 2020-21.

A two-time graduate of the University of Florida, Warren worked five seasons with the Gator men’s basketball program.  He was a team manager, head manager and then a graduate assistant.

While at Florida, he also interned with the Charlotte Hornets in 2018.  Warren was part of the Hornets’ front office, working in the basketball operations department.

Warren earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2019 in Sports Management from Florida and followed that by completing his Master’s degree in Sports Management in 2020.
