COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland-Illinois football game, set to be played at SECU Stadium on October 14, will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and be broadcast on NBC, it was announced on Monday. It will be the Terrapins third game on NBC this season. The game will also air on the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
Maryland (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) is off to its best start since 2001. The Terrapins, who defeated Indiana 44-17 on Saturday, have won seven straight games dating back to last season and are 15-5 overall in their last 20 games played.
Maryland has won both of its all-time meetings against Illinois, including a 20-17 road win during the 2021 season. The Illini (2-3, 0-2 Big Ten) host Nebraska this Saturday at 8 p.m.
