The Pro Football Hall of Famehave announced the Modern-Era nominees for the 2024 class. Eight former Browns players have nominated.
KR/PR Josh Cribbs, RB Eric Metcalf, QB Jake Delhomme, RB Jamal Lewis, WR Andre Rison, OT Lomas Brown, LB Karlos Dansby and P Brad Maynard are amongst the names listed who played for the Browns.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame will announce the list of Modern-Era nominees in November, which will be narrowed down to 25 semifinalists. The final list will comprise 19 nominees, including 15 Modern-Era finalists, senior finalists Randy Gradishar, Steve McMichael and Art Powell, and coach/contributor finalist Buddy Parker.

Eric Quinn Metcalf (born January 23, 1968) is an American former professional football player who was primarily known as a return specialist, but played running back and wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, San Diego Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection for the Browns and the Chargers. He was also the 1988 US Track and Field Champion in the long jump and a two-time NCAA Champion in the same event at the University of Texas.
Joshua Cribbs (born June 9, 1983) is an American former football player who was a return specialist and wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Kent State University, and was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He has tied the NFL career record with eight kickoff returns for touchdowns, and also the NFL record with two kickoffs of 100 yards or more returned for touchdowns in a single game. He has also played for the New York Jets, Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts. He was most recently a special teams coaching intern for the Cleveland Browns.
