Ohio State Overview
• Devin was one of 13 early enrollees who arrived on campus in January of 2022
• He played a total of 15 plays in two games in 2022 – vs. Toledo and Rutgers – and red-shirted the season
• Majoring in finance
• Enters the 2023 season with four seasons of eligibility remaining
• Competed with Kyle McCord for the No. 1 quarterback role through 11 practices during the 2023 spring drills before injuring a finger and missing the final four practices, including the spring game
• Switched jersey numbers from 15 to 33, a number he wore throughout age group football and for a time in high school, and as a tribute to Sammy Baugh, a charter member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame
• He says No. 33 is “the original quarterback number”

• Transferred to Corner Canyon, in Draper Utah, for his senior season to play in a different offense, and he threw for 4,881 yards with 57 TDs while adding 430 yards on the ground and eight more touchdowns
• Guided Corner Canyon to the state championship game and was named MaxPreps’ Utah state player of the year
• Threw for nearly 8,000 yards and 85 touchdown passes in his 31-game high school career
