COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State and UCLA are set to meet one final time in a regular season non-conference matchup as the two schools will square-off in this year’s CBS Sports Classic. The game will be played at the award-winning State Farm Center in Atlanta, Ga., on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. and will be the first game of a double-header. North Carolina and Kentucky will play in the second game.
Ohio State is 4-4 overall in the CBS Sports Classic and 2-1 against UCLA. The Buckeyes lost to UCLA in Las Vegas in 2017 but then won the 2018 matchup in Chicago and the 2020 matchup in Cleveland. Overall, this will be the 13th meeting between Ohio State and UCLA and the all-time series is tied at 6-6.
This year, fans will have the opportunity to purchase official fan travel packages for the CBS Sports Classic, which will include game tickets, hotel accommodations in downtown Atlanta and in-arena hospitality at State Farm Arena. Fan travel packages are set to go on sale on August 16, allowing fans exclusive early access to secure their seats for the event ahead of the launch of public ticket sales later in the month. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on August 24 at www.cbssportsclassic.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

This completes a competitive non-conference schedule for the Buckeyes. They are also scheduled to host Texas A&M on Nov. 10, play Arkansas and potentially Oregon or Santa Clara at the Emerald Coast Classic and then West Virginia in Cleveland on Dec. 30.
