COLUMBUS, Ohio – In front of a crowd of 75,122 football-loving, sun-splashed fans, the Ohio State Gray team (the defense) defeated the Ohio State Scarlet (offense) team, 40-31, on a lovely afternoon at Ohio Stadium. This 15th of 15 scheduled practices concludes the program’s spring work on the football field.

Fans did not get the opportunity to see the anticipated “game” showdown at quarterback between junior-to-be Kyle McCord and second-year freshman Devin Brown with the news earlier this week that Brown injured the little finger on his throwing hand and would miss the game. Head coach Ryan Day described the injury as minor and said Brown would be able to resume throwing “real soon.”
