America’s short track racing community lost a great driver on Sunday.
Legendary South Carolina short track driver Marty Ward died reportedly from suffering a heart attack. He was just 58.
Ward had the attack while competing in the Southeast Super Trucks competition at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC) on Saturday.
Racing is what Ward loved and earlier in the day, it was ironic that he had won his last race ever, at Anderson Motor Speedway, winning the Southern Classic Stock Car feature race.
