COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will start the 2023-24 regular season on Thursday, October 12 when they host the Philadelphia Flyers on Opening Night, presented by Nationwide, kicking off their 23rd National Hockey League season. Today, the club announced the theme nights fans can expect this season along with special ticket offers.
All ticket holders will experience the theme nights which include unique game night experiences, concourse activities, themed entertainment and giveaway items. While specific details related to each night will be released closer to the games, the 2023-24 Theme Night schedule includes:
- Thursday, Oct. 12 vs. Philadelphia – Opening Night pres. by Nationwide featuring 2023-24 Schedule Magnets
- Friday, Oct. 20 vs Calgary – STAR WARS™ Takeover Night (See Ticket Package)
- Saturday, Oct. 28 vs. New York Islanders – Halloween Night featuring a Youth Trick or Treat Bucket
- Thursday, Nov. 16 vs. Arizona – Hockey Fights Cancer Night pres. by OhioHealth featuring HFC Johnny Gaudreau Bobblehead
- Friday, Dec. 1 vs Ottawa – Grateful Dead Takeover Night (See Ticket Package)
- Friday, Dec. 8 vs. St. Louis – First Responder Night pres. by Jet’s Pizza (See Ticket Package)
- Sunday, Dec. 10 vs. Florida – Mascot Madness Day featuring a Kids Mascot Poster

Special ticket packages will also be available throughout the season which include unique items and experiences for fans who have purchased the ticket offer. The ticket offer must be purchased to obtain the giveaway and is not available to all fans with a ticket to the game. Ticket packages will go on sale on Tuesday, August 1 at 10 a.m. ET.
