He made his Major League debut with Baltimore in 2019 and is 0-1 with a 10.18 ERA in 31 games in three seasons with the Orioles (2019), Mariners (2019), Padres (2022), Dodgers (2023) and Red Sox (2023).

Acton made his Major League debut with Oakland in May and logged a 12.71 ERA in six relief appearances.  He allowed eight runs on nine hits and five walks in 5.2 innings while striking out five.  The 25-year-old right-hander is also 5-2 with three saves and a 5.59 ERA in 21 relief appearances with Triple-A Las Vegas.
