COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS RETURN TO PINS MECHANICAL CO. FOR 2023 NHL DRAFT PARTY

Draft Party festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with numerous activities and prizes

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets invite fans to Pins Mechanical Co. at Easton Town Center for the second year to watch the 2023 National Hockey League Draft first round at the team’s official Draft Party on Wednesday, June 28. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the party beginning at 6 p.m. and live draft coverage set to start at 7 p.m. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. The first 1,000 fans to enter will receive a limited-edition commemorative cup.

Live television coverage of the first round of the draft airing on ESPN and ESPN+ will be broadcasted at the event.

The evening will also feature numerous ways for fans to come together to celebrate one of the most exciting nights of the hockey calendar year. The 2023 NHL Draft Party will include:

  • Appearances by Blue Jackets players (subject to change), Stinger and In-Arena Host Mike Todd.
  • Interactive games, contests, and photo opportunities.
  • Exclusive CBJ prizes including autographed sticks, pucks and jerseys.
  • New merchandise from The Blue Line available for sale.
  • And more!

Fans at the watch party, or at home, can bid on draft-themed auction items through the Blue Jackets Foundation. The Foundation will also raffle off a signed jersey and hat from the first-round draft pick. To participate, fans can visit http://cbjauction.givesmart.com when the raffle opens on June 28 at 9 a.m. and closes on June 29 at 9 p.m.

The Columbus Blue Jackets 2023 NHL Draft Show will air live on 97.1 The Fan from 7-9 p.m. with live broadcasting from Nashville and special draft coverage presented by mike’s Hard Lemonade.

Fans are encouraged to RSVP for the Draft Party at bluejackets.com/draftparty. An RSVP does not guarantee entry to the event as it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The Blue Jackets hold the third pick at the 2023 Upper Deck National Hockey League Draft from June 28-29 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The NHL Draft Lottery held in May determined the club’s draft position.
