Blue Jackets announce 2023 Preseason Schedule

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to the 2023-24 National Hockey League season, the club announced today.  Columbus will play home and road sets against the Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues and Washington Capitals.  The Blue Jackets’ announcement of the team’s 2023 preseason schedule is presented by mike’s Hard Lemonade.

The Blue Jackets open preseason play on Sunday, September 24 with a pair of split squad games against the Penguins.  The two teams will meet at 1 p.m. ET at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, followed by a 7 p.m. ET contest at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.  The team will then visit the Blues on Tuesday, September 26 and Sabres on Saturday, September 30.  Columbus plays three home games over four days from October 2-5, hosting St. Louis on Monday, October 2, Buffalo on Wednesday, October 4 and Washington on Thursday, October 5.  The club closes out its preseason schedule on Saturday, October 7 at the Capitals.  All home preseason games will start at 7 p.m. ET.

The team’s complete 2023-24 regular season schedule as well as ticket information will be announced at later dates.  Columbus’ complete 2023 preseason schedule can be found below (home games in bold):

Tuesday, Sept. 26 at St. Louis Blues, 8 p.m. ET
Saturday, Sept. 30 at Buffalo Sabres, 3 p.m. ET
Monday, Oct. 2 vs. St. Louis Blues, 7 p.m. ET
Wednesday, Oct. 4 vs. Buffalo Sabres, 7 p.m. ET
Thursday, Oct. 5 vs. Washington Capitals, 7 p.m. ET
Saturday, Oct. 7 at Washington Capitals, 7 p.m. ET
