Los Angeles Angels infielder Brandon Drury has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for making contact with Umpire Ramon De Jesus while arguing balls and strikes in his Club’s game vs. the Texas Rangers last night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Michael Hill, Major League Baseball’s Senior Vice President for On-Field Operations, made the announcement.
Drury has elected to appeal. Thus, this discipline will be held in abeyance until the process is complete.
