Columbus Crew heads to Chicago for a chance to add to current winning streak

 

MATCH SUMMARY
Following a busy May, Columbus enters Saturday’s match at
Chicago Fire FC with 24 points, ranking sixth in the Eastern
Conference. After earning six points at home last week (3-2
vs. Colorado; 4-2 vs. Charlotte FC), the Club travels to Soldier
Field to face the Fire, who enter the match with 17 points and
stand 14th in the Eastern Conference.
The Black & Gold look to carry the momentum from
back-to-back wins into this week. The Crew have scored a
league-leading 33 goals this season, the most in club history
through16 matches. Additionally, Columbus is coming off a
contest where they tied their single-season high in assists
(seven). The Crew have not lost in their past three macthes
against the Fire (3-0-1).
Chicago leads the all-time series with a 27-23-23 record, with
both clubs drawing in their last matchup on Sept. 3, 2022.
