The 2023 NFL Draft marked the first since 1967 that four consecutive first-round selections were used on wide receivers. At least two wide receivers have been selected in the first round of 15 consecutive NFL Drafts, the longest such streak in the common-draft era.

Alabama became the first school in the common-draft era to have multiple offensive players selected in the first round in five consecutive NFL Drafts and the first school since 1967 to have an offensive player selected in the first round in nine consecutive NFL Drafts (2015-23).

Ohio State has had 77 players selected in the first round of the NFL Draft since 1967, the most among all colleges in the common-draft era.
