BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES
- The Blue Jackets now have points in seven of their last 11 games (4-4-3) following tonight’s 5-2 loss to the Blues.
- Columbus completed its season series with the Blues tonight, also falling 5-2 at St. Louis on October 15.
- The home team fell in the series for the first time in six games and moved to 15-5-1 in the last 21 contests.
- Columbus had its two-game win streak home win streak in the series snapped and is now 6-3-1 in the past 10 contests at Nationwide Arena dating back to Apr. 12, 2013.
- The winning team in the series has scored four-plus goals in seven of the last eight contests.
- The club’s blueliners posted 0-1-1 tonight and have now recorded 4-16-20 in the last 15 games (25-72-97 in 65 games this season).
- With one power play goal tonight, Columbus has now scored a power play goal in each of the last five games (5-of-12; 41.7 pct.) and nine of the last 12 (9-of-31; 29.0 pct.). The club has now converted on 14-of-53 power play chances over the last 20 games dating back to Jan. 21 (26.7 pct.).
- CBJ have scored a power play goal in five of their past six home games (5-of-20, 25.0 pct.).
- The Blue Jackets killed off both Blues’ power play attempts tonight and have now killed off 51-of-64 opponent power play attempts over the last 25 games since Jan. 12 (79.7 pct.).
- The club’s rookies posted 0-2-2 tonight and have now registered 26-25-51 over the last 34 contests (overall, 39-43-82 in 65 games this season).
- CBJ are 7-3-0 in their last 10 Saturday games dating back to December 31.
- The Blue Jackets had their third-straight sellout crowd of 18,222 in attendance tonight.

« The Blue Jackets were led by C Boone Jenner in shots (6) and hits (4), D Andrew Peeke in blocked shots (5) and D Erik Gudbranson in TOI (22:12).
« LW Patrik Laine notched his team-leading 21st goal of the season to stretch his goal streak to four-straight games (4-1-5) and his points streak to five-straight games (4-2-6). He now has 5-4-9 in his past seven games and 12-16-28 with seven multi-point efforts in 26 outings since Jan. 10. The forward is now three goals from 200 for his NHL career (197-174-371 in 457 GP). He improved to 17-5-22 in 18 career games against St. Louis, including points in four-straight home games (3-3-6) vs. the club and goals in each of his last four contests overall (4-1-5).
« C Boone Jenner scored his 20th goal of the season, accomplishing the feat for the third time in his career. He has now picked up points in 11 of his past 20 contests (9-6-15; overall, 20-17-37 in 54 GP).
« LW Johnny Gaudreau tallied his team-leading 11th multi-assist and 15th multi-point game of the campaign with 0-2-2 to give him 1-7-8 in his last 10 games and has collected 3-13-16 in his last 19 contests. He has now notched 6-19-25 in 23 career games vs. St. Louis, including 2-8-10 with three multi-point efforts in the last 6 outings.
« C Kent Johnson registered his 19th assist of the season and now has 1-4-5 in his last seven contests (overall, 13-19-32 in 62 GP).
« D Nick Blankenburg recorded his eighth assist of the campaign, giving him 0-3-3 in his last five games (overall, 3-8-11 in 29 GP).
