The young Ohio State Buckeyes have gotten farther in the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament this year as a 13th seed than anybody else. No team with that ranking has ever gotten this far to Day 3.
But now they received some bad news about their top scorer.
Star freshman Brice Sensabaugh has been ruled out of the game due to knee soreness. It is a big blow for head coach Chris Holtmann and his Buckeyes, as they will have to replace their leading scorer 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds with 1.2 assists per game.
The Buckeyes and Spartans tip off at 3:00 p.m. ET from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
