  • Columbus had its three-game points streak (2-0-1) snapped with a 4-2 loss to Seattle on Friday.  The club has now recorded points in six of the last eight games overall (4-2-2).
  • The club has also registered points in seven of its last 10 contests (5-3-2) with wins against four of the top-14 teams in the League (Toronto 4th; Dallas 6th; Edmonton 12th;  Winnipeg 14th).
  • The Blue Jackets have won three-straight Saturday games and have earned victories in six of their last seven games played on the day dating back to December 31.
  • Sunday’s game at Minnesota kicked off a stretch of 12-of-15 games played on the road from February 26-March 30.  The lone home games during that stretch are March 3 (vs. Seattle), March 11 (vs. St. Louis) and March 24 (vs. NY Islanders).
  • CBJ have earned a point in a season-high five-straight road games (3-0-2) since February 11.  The club has also collected points in eight of its last 11 contests away from Nationwide Arena dating back to January 23 (5-3-3).

  • Nick Blankenburg registered his third multi-point effort of the campaign with two primary assists on Tuesday at Buffalo.  He has collected 0-3-3 in his past six contests.
  • Adam Boqvist factored in both Blue Jacket goals on Friday (1-1-2) for his third multi-point effort of the season.   He has registered 3-5-8 in his last eight contests and 3-9-12 in his past 13 appearances.  He set a new single-season career high in assists with his 15th of the campaign against the Kraken.
  • LW Johnny Gaudreau became the 13th different player in franchise history to record 40 assists in a single season after picking up an assist on Friday.  He leads the team in assists and points with 15-40-55 in 60 contests this season.  He set the franchise record for fewest games played to record 50 career points (53 GP), surpassing the mark set by Ray Whitney (56 GP).
  • Erik Gudbranson recorded an assist for the second time in three games on Friday.  He has collected 1-11-12 in 61 games in his first season with the club and has tied his single-season career high in assists (11 in 78 games with Calgary in 2021-22).
  • Boone Jenner has collected three multi-point efforts in the last six games (3-3-6).  The forward, who leads the team in goals (19), has notched 5-5-10 in his last 10 outings and 8-6-14 in his past 17 games.
  • Kent Johnson has collected 5-5-10 in his past 17 contests.  He ranks fifth among League rookies in goals (tied) and points with 13-16-29 in 59 games.
  • LW Patrik Laine picked up his 12th multi-point effort of the campaign with 1-1-2 on Friday.  He has posted 4-6-10 in his last nine contests and 9-16-25 with seven multi-point efforts in 23 outings since Jan. 10.
  • RW Kirill Marchenko ranks second-T among NHL rookie goal scorers in 2022-23 with 16-1-17 in 39 games but leads League rookies in goals and ranks fifth-T in points since making his NHL debut on December 6.  The 16 goals are tied for third-most by a rookie in a single season in franchise history (Jenner in 2013-14; Sillinger in 2021-22), trailing only Rick Nash (17 in 2002-03) and Pierre-Luc Dubois (20 in 2017-18).
  • Elvis Merzlikins is 2-2-2 with a 2.95 GAA and .912 SV% in his last six games since returning from the NHL break on February 10.
  • RW Mathieu Olivier has recorded 2-2-4 in his last seven games and has set career highs with 5-8-13 and 79 penalty minutes in 57 contests this season.
  • Andrew Peeke ranks 13th in the NHL in blocked shots this season (132) and has registered a blocked shot in 54 of his 60 contests this season.
