Blue Jackets can’t find offense in 2-0 loss to Minnesota Wild

BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES

  • The Blue Jackets had their three-game points streak (2-0-1) snapped with tonight’s loss to the Minnesota Wild and fell to 5-5-3 in their past 13 games, including 2-3-1 at home since Jan. 21. 
  • Columbus has now picked up points in 12 of the last 18 meetings in the series vs. Minnesota dating back to Apr. 13, 2013 (10-6-2).
  • The home team failed to record a point for just the second time in the last 10 meetings of the series (6-2-2).
  • Columbus fell to 5-3-1 in the last nine home contests in the series and 9-6-1 in the past 16 games at Nationwide Arena.
  • The Blue Jackets killed off Minnesota’s only power play attempt tonight and have now killed off 38-of-45 opponent power play chances over the last 18 games of the season (84.4 pct.).
