COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13/14 Ohio State women’s basketball team (22-5, 11-5 B1G) travels to No. 12/13 Michigan (20-6, 10-5 B1G) on Monday evening for the team’s second meeting of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in a game broadcast live on FS1.

  • Ohio State enters the game with a 22-5 overall record and an 11-5 mark in Big Ten play after earning a 67-55 win at Penn State on Thursday in the teams’ lone meeting of the season.
  • Cotie McMahon earned her first career double-double with 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. Rikki Harris had a balanced game with 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assits. Taylor Thierry had 13 points (5-of-7 from the floor).
  • McMahon was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season on Feb. 13.
  • Michigan holds a 20-6 overall record and is 10-5 in the Big Ten following a 68-52 loss at No. 2/2 Indiana on Thursday.
  • The Wolverines are 2-5 when facing a ranked opponent this season, including wins over then No. 21 Baylor and No. 6 North Carolina during the non-conference slate. Michigan has not lost to an unranked opponent during Big Ten play.
  • Leigha Brown leads the Wolverines with 17.5 points and 5.8 assists per game while Emily Kiser leads with 6.8 rebounds per game.
  • Ohio State leads 57-16 in the all-time series against Michigan and is 24-10 when facing the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. These records have been adjusted to reflect later NCAA rulings.
  • The Buckeyes snapped a three-game losing streak against Michigan with a 66-57 win in the Covelli Center on New Year’s Eve. After a slow start offensively, the Buckeyes took their first lead of the game in the second quarter and led by three at halftime following a buzzer-beating triple from Emma Shumate. OSU outscored Michigan 20-14 in the third quarter and withstood the Wolverines’ fourth-quarter push. The Buckeye defense forced 27 turnovers and finished with 13 steals.
