Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball News: Men’s Basketball Game Postponed at Illinois

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota men’s basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Illinois will be postponed due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols within the Golden Gopher program.  

Minnesota and Illinois, along with the Big Ten Conference, will work together to identify possible rescheduling dates.

Minnesota’s next scheduled game is at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 against Iowa at home. The game will air on FS1 and KFAN 100.3 FM.

The Golden Gophers have a record of 7-15 overall, 1-11 in the Big Ten. Team has lost 7 games in a row.

Illinois won the first game against Minnesota on January 16, 78-60.
