INDIANAPOLIS (1/16/2023) — University of Detroit Mercy graduate senior Antoine Davis added a third NCAA record to his name last weekend, and today he garnered another Horizon League award as he was named the Nike® #HLMBB Player of the Week.

It is the 11th time in his career that he has been named the conference Player of the Week, which is already a league record.

Davis averaged 36.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists, shooting 54.2% overall (26-48) and 50.0% from three (14-28) last weekend. He hit eight of his 11 triples in the first half and the eighth was the record-breaking trifecta giving him 510 in his career to break the NCAA all-time mark. Davis now has 513 career 3-pointers and 3,232 points, third in NCAA history. He leads the nation in scoring at 26.2 points and has a HL best five 30-point games and 16, 20-point contests on the season.

Davis also became the first player in 40 years to tally a 40-point game in four different campaigns, is just the second player in NCAA history with 3,000 career points and 500 assists and has a school-record five 40-point outings.

He now owns the NCAA record for 3-pointers by a freshman (132), total 3-pointers and consecutive games in double figures (130).
