  • Columbus closes out a four games in six days stretch on Saturday against the Sharks, most recently falling 5-3 to Anaheim on Thursday.
  • CBJ also close out a stretch of four-of-six games played at home from January 12-21.  The club heads out for a four-game road trip through western Canada (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver) and Seattle next week.
  • The Blue Jackets kicked off a stretch of seven consecutive contests against the Western Conference on Tuesday.  After facing the Central Division’s Predators, the team plays six-straight against the Pacific Division from January 19-28.  CBJ are 3-1-1 against the Pacific Division in 2022-23.

  • LW Johnny Gaudreau picked up his team-leading 30th assist on Thursday against Anaheim and now has 3-4-7 over his last five games.  He leads the team in goals (tied), assists and points with 12-30-42 in 45 contests and was named to his first NHL All-Star Game as a Blue Jacket and seventh in his career.  He finished the 2022 calendar year with 38-81-119 in 88 games split between Calgary and Columbus to end the year second-T in the League in assists and third in points.  His 81 assists were the second most by a U.S-born player in a single season in NHL history, trailing only Craig Janney’s 82 in 1992.
  • Kent Johnson ranks sixth among NHL rookies in goals and points (tied) and 10th in points-per-game (min. 15 GP) with 8-11-19 in 41 contests (.45 Pt/GP).
  • Joonas Korpisalo has stopped 194-of-210 shots over his last seven games played to rank 10th in the NHL in save percentage (.924) since December 9 (min. 6 GP).
