BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES

• The Blue Jackets fell for their third consecutive game following tonight’s 6-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
• The club is now 2-2-0 in its last four home games and 4-3-0 in the last seven contests at Nationwide Arena dating back to Dec. 9.
• The road team in the series has recorded points in 10 of the last 12 meetings (8-2-2).
• The winning team in the series has scored four-plus goals in seven consecutive games and eight of the last nine contests (including shootout goals).
• CBJ killed off all four Hurricanes’ power play attempts tonight and have now killed off 17-of-20 of Carolina’s power play attempts over the last six outings (85.0 pct.).
• Blue Jackets blueliners posted 0-2-2 tonight and have now recorded 5-10-15 in the last 11 contests and 18-44-62 in 41 games this season.

«  The Blue Jackets were led by LW Johnny Gaudreau in shots (6), D Vladislav Gavrikov in hits (5), D Andrew Peeke in blocked shots (6) and C Jack Roslovic in TOI (22:21).

«  LW Johnny Gaudreau scored his team-leading 12^th goal of the season to give him 5-16-21 with points in 13 of his last 22 contests (overall, 12-27-39 in 41 GP).  He improved to 6-6-12 in 17 career games vs. the Hurricanes.

«  LW Patrik Laine tallied an assist for his second consecutive game (0-3-3).  He now has 10-9-19 in 22 career outings against Carolina, including 5-5-10 with two multi-point efforts in 11 career home contests.

«  D Adam Boqvist recorded an assist to extend his assists streak to three-straight games (0-3-3) and give him 0-4-4 in the last five contests.

«  D Gavin Bayreuther registered an assist, giving him points in two-straight contests (1-1-2) and 2-2-4 in the last seven games (overall, 2-3-5 in 19 GP).

«  C Sean Kuraly scored a goal to give him 8-4-12 in 39 appearances.

«  RW Mathieu Olivier tallied his fourth assist of the season and now has 2-4-6 in 36 games.

«  G Joonas Korpisalo played in his 200^th career NHL game tonight, stopping 35-of-41 shots faced tonight.
