CINCINNATI — Cincinnati redshirt-sophomore forward Viktor Lakhin earned a spot on the AAC’s weekly honor roll, as announced by the league.
Lakhin led UC with 15.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg over the team’s split. He had 14 points and nine boards in the Bearcats’ 70-61 victory over Wichita State, leading by as much as 22 inside Koch Arena. He followed it with 16 points and six boards against No. 2 Houston on Sunday, including 14 points in the second half alone. Lakhin also had career-highs in free-throws (8) and percentage (10) on the day.
The Anapa, Russia, native is 10th nationally with a 65.2 field goal percentage and fourth in the AAC with 7.7 rebounds per game.
