INDIANAPOLIS/DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball game against Detroit Mercy on Friday, January 6 has been selected to be televised on ESPN2, the Horizon League and ESPN announced on Thursday afternoon.

The game remains a 7 p.m. tipoff with the national television selection.

It will be the first national television appearance for the Raiders this season, with Wright State in the mix for two more Horizon League linear television selections for the February 10 and February 17 contests. The Raiders are set to host Northern Kentucky on February 10 and play at Cleveland State on February 17.

The January 6 game will be Wright State’s annual Military Appreciation game, featuring a t-shirt giveaway as the Raiders don their camo uniforms.

Wright State played in seven national television games in the 2021-22 season, including three during the regular season before two Horizon League tournament broadcasts and two NCAA national productions, as the Raiders tallied a 5-2 record in those games. The January 6 game will mark the 30th national television broadcast for Wright State under head coach Scott Nagy.
