CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 6-3, visit the University of Cincinnati Bearcats, 6-3, on Saturday for the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at UC.
Xavier and Cincinnati are meeting for the 90th time. The Bearcats lead the series 51-38 but the Musketeers have won three straight vs. UC, seven of the last nine meetings and 11 of the last 15.

Xavier, 6-3, is coming off its second-straight win, an 84-74 victory over West Virginia on Saturday as part of the BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle series.
• Xavier graduate student Souley Boum earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll after leading XU in scoring at 19.0 ppg. to go with 5.0 apg. for two XU’s wins last week. Boum, who passed 2,000 collegiate points on Dec. 3, leads the team in scoring (tied for sixth in BIG EAST at 16.6 ppg.) and is second in assists (4.0 apg.).
• Xavier junior Colby Jones, who was named Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team, leads XU in assists at 5.8 apg. (third in BIG EAST) to go with 15.5 ppg., which ranks second on the team and 10th in the BIG EAST.
• Xavier graduate student Jack Nunge, who was named Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team, is third the team in scoring at 15.2 ppg. (13th in the BIG EAST) and leads the team in rebounding at 7.6 rpg., which is tied for sixth in the BIG EAST.
• Xavier’s balanced scoring attack boasts five players in double figures in scoring (all in the top 30 in the BIG EAST): Souley Boum (16.6 ppg.), Colby Jones (15.5 ppg.), Jack Nunge (15.2 ppg.), Zach Freemantle (13.0 ppg.) and Adam Kunkel (11.4 ppg.).
• Xavier senior Zach Freemantle, who became the 58th member of XU’s 1,000 Point Club on Nov. 30, is second on the team in rebounding at 6.9 rpg. (tied for ninth in the BIG EAST). He is fourth on the team and 22nd in the BIG EAST in scoring at 13.0 ppg.
• Xavier head coach Sean Miller, in his sixth season at the helm (also HC from 2004-09), is the fifth-winningest active Div. I head coach (by win percentage) among head coaches with at least 10 years. He is 428-159 (.729) in his 18th year overall.
