GAME NOTES

*Offense came to life after season-opening loss to New York Rangers

*Down 1-0 the Lightning went to work. Tampa Bay took their first lead of the night with goals from Corey Perry and Steven Stamkos 1:13 apart.

*Now it’s off to Pittsburgh where the Lightning will face the Penguins in the second half of the team’s first back-to-back set of the season on Saturday.
