NEW YORK (May 11, 2022) – Edmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse has been suspended for one game for head-butting Los Angeles Kings forward Phillip Danault during Game 5 of the teams’ First Round series in Edmonton on Tuesday, May 10, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:50 of the second period.
