Bally Sports Great Lakes to air 155 games; 11 games nationally televised; All 162 games to be broadcast on the Cleveland Guardians Radio Network and local AM flagship WTAM 1100; 143 games on local FM flagship 100.7 WMMS
Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians today announced game times and broadcast information for the club’s 2022 season schedule, its 122nd year as a charter member of the American League.
Bally Sports Great Lakes, the Guardians flagship TV partner, will air 155 games, while 11 games will appear on national TV. *The TV schedule is subject to change
On radio, flagship home WTAM will air all 162 games of the 2022 campaign with WMMS 100.7 FM airing 143 games; all 162 games can be heard across the Guardians Radio Network.
With the reworked schedule, Cleveland now opens on the road at Kansas City on April 7 at 4:10PM ET. Following a four-game set in Kansas City, the Guardians head to Cincinnati for a two-game series before returning to Cleveland for their Home Opener on April 15 at 7:10PM ET against San Francisco. The contest will mark Cleveland’s first home opener against a National League team in franchise history.
The Guardians first two games at Progressive Field on April 15 and August 16 will be simulcast on Channel 3 WKYC.
Cleveland currently has 11 games slated to be nationally televised, including one game exclusively on Apple TV+ and three games exclusively on Peacock (NBC’s streaming platform).
