ETIENNE JR. REGISTERS ASSIST AGAINST THE SAN
JOSE EARTHQUAKES
Derrick Etienne Jr. registered an assist in Saturday’s road contest against the San Jose Earthquakes. The midfielder provided the helper on the Crew’s second goal,
as he crossed a ball to Gyasi Zardes, which the forward
then finished off. Etienne Jr. had three shots (two on
target), created one goalscoring chance, won four duels
and won one tackle during the contest. The midfielder
has scored one goal and provided one assist through two
regular-season appearances (two starts) in 2022.
