Wright State Raiders News: Final regular season weekend on tap for Men’s Basketball; Youngstown State invades Fairborn

The Wright State men’s basketball team closes the regular season this week with a pair of home games inside the Nutter Center, welcoming Youngstown State on Thursday night before taking on Robert Morris Saturday as the Raiders celebrate Senior Night.
 
Fans can follow the action several ways – via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in on the radio. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on both the radio and ESPN+ feed for both games.

Wright State begins the week by taking on Youngstown State, who is 18-11 overall with a 12-7 Horizon League mark to start the final weekend and has won its last two contests. Robert Morris holds a 7-21 overall record with a 5-14 Horizon League record with a visit to NKU on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s contest at the Nutter Center.
 
Thursday’s game against the Penguins will feature recognitions from the Wright State Miracle Makers program, as well as a postgame gathering at Milano’s Beavercreek location. On Saturday night, Wright State will honor three seniors – James MannsTJ Nagy and Riley Voss – pregame and will also be Donate Life Night with Life Connection of Ohio, where we will recognize donor and recipient families.

The Raiders begin the week 16-13 overall with a 13-7 Horizon League mark and has secured the opportunity to host either a First Round or Quarterfinal game in the upcoming Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship. Final seeding for teams across the Horizon League are coming down to this weekend’s last two contests as the bracket begins to take shape.
